O'Hare Needs Trains

Chicago is planning an $8.5 billion makeover that would reinvent O’Hare International Airport for the 21st century, but it’s missing one critical thing: trains.

Please ask Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to include a train station in O'Hare's redevelopment plan.

A new train station at O'Hare would impact communities across the Midwest. Whether you live in Chicago or hundreds of miles away it is important that your voice gets heard.

We don’t have to remind you how hard it is to get to O’Hare. How long the drive is. How unreliable and cramped that connecting flight is.

You know there’s a better way to get to O’Hare: a fast, frequent and reliable train that would let you work or relax, instead of being held captive behind the wheel or a tray table.

(The CTA Blue Line is a great option for some, but we’re talking about trains from all around the Chicago region and across the entire Midwest.)

O’Hare is surrounded by railroads and rights-of-way. The plan to rebuild the airport’s terminal should include a train station. Ask Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to include trains in the 21st century version of O’Hare.
