Better Travel

IMAGINE. A breakfast meeting in Chicago, a lunch meeting in St. Louis. In between, a quick 115 minutes on the train with a solid internet connection makes for a very productive day. And you'll be back home in time for dinner with the family.

High speed rail could transform the way we work and the way we travel.

Even for a trip from St. Paul to Chicago, a high-speed train would beat flying by 40 minutes. High-speed trains would offer more frequent departures and better onboard amenities.

To boot, it's all at lower cost to the traveler. We estimate that Midwest businesses and families would save over $2 billion per year if we had high-speed rail.
