What We Promote: National Interconnected Network

America is a very large country with a varied geography. Americans are a very diverse population with widely varied travel needs.

Therefore, America needs a range of railroad services designed to meet local and regional needs.

It is important that Congress creates a railroad development program that is flexible enough to deal with the wide range of transportation needs, while also recognizing that any passenger rail service will need to operate as part of a nationwide, interconnected, and interstate network.
