What We Promote: Airport Connections:
Midway Airport - Chicago, IL

The existing Amtrak route between Chicago and St. Louis passes 2 miles

At Cicero Avenue the existing Amtrak route between Chicago and St. Louis is just over 2 miles from the terminal. A joint Amtrak and Metra station could be constructed on the site of a junk yard adjacent to the tracks. The airports shuttles could meet the trains. Additionally, there is an existing city bus route linking the site to the terminal and the west side of the city.

The existing Amtrak/Metra station, which is just 4 miles to the west of the airport terminal, could also be used to link the corridor to the airport.
