What We Promote: Airport Connections:
Detroit Metropolitan Airport

The Chicago-Detroit corridor passes within one mile of Wayne County's Detroit Metropolitan Airport (the Chicago-Detroit corridor is the line at the top of the map, the rail line adjacent to the airport is being considered for commuter rail).

A station could be constructed at Merriman Road that would allow shuttle bus service between the rail line and the airport. Mayor Michael Guido of Dearborn, Michigan has proposed that airport shuttles operate between the proposed Greenfield Village station and the airport.
