The Midwest is closer than ever to having a modern, efficient, and effective passenger rail network. A variety of projects in the Midwest are currently being undertaken that will greatly expand and improve passenger rail service in the Midwest. These range from minor projects such as increasing frequency and travel time on existing routes, to completely new rail lines. Together, these projects will dramatically increase mobility throughout the Midwest.
