The Midwest High Speed Rail Association turns 20 years old today. It's hard to believe how far we've come since our founder, Claude Luisada, first dreamt of a Midwest in which our cities and local economies could be truly interconnected by high performance trains.
Can you make a contribution of $100 or more to mark this milestone?
We have some huge opportunities for progress in the year ahead, but not without your help. We'll be mobilizing people to make phone calls and sit down for face-to-face meetings with our leaders, as well as organizing public events to seize the moment. That means we'll need to add new staff and travel all over the region to get the message out.
Claude has challenged us to raise $20,000 in the next 20 business days as the first phase of a major fundraising campaign. He will donate $5,000 if we meet that goal.
Can you make a birthday donation today of $100 to help us reach that goal?
The truth is, no other organization does what we do. We're coordinating local leaders to create a path towards high-speed rail; to connect cities and towns in a way never possible before.
We can make it happen, with your support!
Thanks so much for all your support over the last 20 years. Here's to our biggest year yet!
