As a result of legislation championed by the Midwest High Speed Rail Association, the State of Illinois is now able to control its own fleet of coaches and locomotives (trainsets).
By purchasing new, high-performance trainsets the State will increase seating capacity, improve reliability, and gain more control over service delivery.
Modern trainsets offer spacious seating, stair-free boarding, private space for business conferences, and lounges with food service.
